El Cobijo

The San Carlos Rotary, along with the physical and financial support of the Rotary Clubs indicated in the picture below have provided food, building maintenance, and funding for El Cobijo in San Jose de Guaymas since 1988. The home has 13 residents that are not able to care for themselves and do not have family to help. Currently, the home is managed by 6 staff members, and about 38 residents could be supported with increased funding and staff.

The home is a rather spacious facility. The following pictures try to give some idea of the resident's living environment.
